The Liberty County Republican Party will be holding an Organizational Meeting on May 4, 2010 at 7pm. The meeting will be held at the Republican Head-Quarters in Liberty Texas. The public is invited.
At this meeting the Party will appoint Officers and swear-in Precinct Chairpersons.
The Republican Party Platform calls for Less Government, Individual Freedom, and a Strong National Defense.

The last Liberty County Republican Party meeting I went to I learned that "it really doesn't matter whether there is a "D" or a "R" by a cndidate's name". No one challenged the statement so I have not gone to a meeting since. Where I am from Democrats organize to elect Democrats and Republicans organize to elect Republicans. If I get back in from Houston in time I will try and make this meeting, but I want to ask someone in leadership to please correct that statement.
ReplyDeletethe meeting needs to start with the biggest problem: the migrant voter, ala ACORN. If you can't stop that problem, all electioneering is futile.
