Liberty dispatch has been told by sources that Liberty PD Information Officer, Hugh Bishop was allegedly found guilty of wrongdoing in an internal Liberty PD investigation and Texas AG- for hiding police reports/document tampering. The allegations behind his "resigning to pursue different interest" surround his tampering of police reports incident to Liberty County DA, Joe Warren's recent alleged felony assault and terroristic threats.
Until recently, Hugh Bishop was an investigator for Liberty County DA, Mike Little and Joe Warren. Hugh Bishop's DA's office pay was secretly funded by Mike Little as Bishop being a bailiff/dare officer in the 253rd Judicial District Court according to TECLOSE documents. Additionally, Hugh Bishop was illegally performing private investigation work for Alan Youngblood of I-dineout, with taxpayers money and while in the employment of Liberty County DA, Mike Little. Bishop was used by Liberty County DA, Mike Little and Youngblood as a Democrat operative to run background checks on Republican candidates and TEA Party members.
